This exciting new ensemble, featuring flautists Rebecca Carson and Mark Taylor and pianist Nathan Tinker, showcases the expressive range and brilliance of the flute. Bringing together lyrical impressionism, contemporary colour, and virtuosic flair, with music by Claude Debussy, Eric Ewazen, Gary Schocker, Michael Daugherty, Ian Clarke, and Franz & Karl Doppler, familiar voices are contrasted with striking modern works, offering a richly varied and engaging musical experience.
Seamlessly fusing folk, classical and Celtic-inspired sounds, rich harmonies and captivating instrumentation, this dynamic musical partnership brings raw emotion and vibrant energy to every performance. Whether reimagining classics or performing original works, these artists deliver a spellbinding experience that lingers long after the final note.
