Start your week with a Monday evening aerial yoga class, hosted by Maria Yerburgh (Dr Maria Papavergos) in our beautiful yoga space, located right by Barwhillanty Estate Office.
Aerial yoga is an exhilarating practice, promising to deliver on strength training, flexibility improvement as well as being a fun way to feel good. The aerial hammock is a delightful prop that supports you to stretch deeply and allows you to access movement in flight. It will challenge and energise you physically and mentally, reaping great rewards for your fitness and emotional wellbeing.
Movement and use of your own body weight helps maintain muscle mass as we age and keep joints and bones strong, protecting against osteoporosis. Strength training is linked to improved health outcomes, including heart health, immune health and oral health.
Please park in the yard beside the office 10-15 minutes before the class starts to meet Maria and bring a yoga mat if you have one. Dress warmly as the studio can be chilly and wear suitable footwear to walk the rough track to the studio.

It is also a tool to suspend you in the air; feeling the float and enabling anti-gravity movement whilst experiencing the wonder of aerial flight.
