GAME SHOOTING

Be it driven or rough shooting, flighting or woodcock hunting, we will bring you a day that delivers on excitement and experience and excels in enjoyment.

Driven Shooting

Be our guest on our established driven family game shoot over undulating fields and woodland producing challenging birds for the discerning sportsman. Enjoy elevenses from a wild setting and look forward to a home cooked lunch in the beautifully renovated Barwhillanty House, with a chance to take away your own carefully prepared game hampers at the end of the day. We are firm believers in the Code of Good Shooting Practice.

Rough Shooting

Embrace the wilderness on an exciting day of shooting, exploring the estate whilst experiencing nature. Looking out for a variety of species, from pheasant to partridge, from woodcock to snipe, from duck to pigeon, it promises to be an adventure filled day, for both your dog and yourself.

Flighting

Find your stillness overlooking one of our magnificent lochs. Envelope yourself in the dawn or dusk chorus on a morning or evening flight, with the prospect of seeing several species of duck and geese from mallard to teal, from widgeon to pintail, from greylag to Canada geese.

Woodcock Hunting

Graced by the arrival of this magical bird in the late winter months, we are delighted to offer a select number of walked up days over dogs. Conservation is at the heart of our vision, so we adopt a cautious approach to numbers and follow guidance from the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) to support both resident and migrant birds.
