Wild Things: Forest School arrives at Barwhillanty
Drop in 12-4pm on Thursday 16th July to experience a FREE taster session of Wild Things at Barwhillanty. Kids aged 3-12 can enjoy a carousel of outdoor adventures, from den building and mud kitchen mischief, to leaf printing and designing twig frames to display your nature masterpieces!
Led by Louise Baxter (Wild Things at Barwhillanty), a Level 3 qualified Forest School Leader with over 20 years’ experience in childcare and early years, and a wealth of hands-on knowledge in helping children learn and thrive outdoors. We’re delighted to be working with Louise on this project — we know first-hand how much nature can inspire little minds.
Make an afternoon of it? The Pavilion will be open for teas, coffees and delicious pizzas for a post-adventure refuel from 12-4pm. Please book your pizza in advance! We are also running our first “Slice of Summer” event 4-8pm if you fancied a relaxed evening in the Walled Garden with the family.
Entry is free, with donations warmly welcomed in support of Hardgate Primary School.
Parental accompaniment is required for these sessions.
